How to write an online talk that will be shared by people from all walks of life?
That is the challenge for the people behind the new podcast, the Interpersonal Skills Podcast, which will be hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport and Fitness (AISF).
The podcast aims to encourage and inform people who are interested in sport, health, fitness, technology and more to have an open and honest conversation about what they love about sport, their sport or their sport’s products and services.
The podcast is hosted by Professor Andrew Steed, a leading Australian sport expert, and is produced by two of the most respected sport media experts in Australia.
They are Dr Dan Houghton and Dr Chris Williams.
Dr Steed says the podcast is a reflection of the values of sport in Australia and the country’s growing interest in sport.
He says, in a nutshell, it is about understanding the strengths and weaknesses of athletes, and sharing the positive experiences they have shared.
The idea is to make people feel that there is an open forum for discussion, even when it is going well and the conversation has been very positive, Dr Steed said.
“If people want to engage in some discussion about the sport they are passionate about, it’s a good thing to share with them,” he said.
He said the podcast has been designed to give people an opportunity to meet other sport enthusiasts and to learn about their experiences.
“The podcasts focus on the positives, and I think that’s what makes them really great,” he explained.
“There’s lots of great stuff to learn from the sport, and it gives people a chance to get involved and learn about the world around them.”
He said that the podcast can be a good resource for people who want to get to know the people who they admire.
“I think it’s important to look at the personalities in sport and recognise how they can inspire people, because we have a very strong social fabric,” he says.
“And it can be very powerful to see people share that with others and be inspired by that.”
In the end, it can really help us all learn from each other.
“Dr Stee also believes the podcast will help to bring sport back to the public’s consciousness.”
It’s going to help people understand that they can do anything, that they don’t need to work in isolation,” he explains.”
They can do everything in their life and the whole world will benefit from it.
“So the podcast really is about people wanting to learn more about their sport, how it can help them to improve themselves, and the world will get better for it.”
Dr Williams says that the idea for the podcast came to him while he was working on a book about his time in the Australian national team.
“When I was writing the book, I was talking to someone about how their son or daughter had a sport-specific health condition and the idea of doing a podcast was something I thought would be fun to explore,” he told ABC News.
“This really resonated with me.”‘
We are the best in the world’Dr Stow said the podcasts aim to promote the value of sport to the wider community.
“We want to help bring sport into the wider public’s awareness,” he added.
“Sports are an important part of our daily lives, but it’s not only about sports, but also about our culture, our way of life and our values.”
That’s why I wanted to bring this podcast to Australia and I thought this was the right way to do it.
