The man who could turn on his cell phone to watch his favorite sitcoms, watch movies on his laptop or read his favorite books.
That man, and his wife, would be at home on weekends and on holidays.
But he didn’t.
His wife was in the hospital, his daughter was in college.
He had to go to work every day.
And he was getting older, at 40.
And so when he asked his doctor for a diagnosis for diabetes, she said, “We can’t do that.”
He went into a panic.
He went to the doctor, who said, I’m not a doctor.
And so he was told to go home and rest.
He went home.
He did not sleep.
He started taking his meds.
He took a walk.
He was sitting in the car.
He called his daughter.
She was at college, at a university.
She had been in the military.
And she wanted to be a nurse.
So they started seeing each other.
Then they started dating.
And they had a son, and the son is a firefighter.
Then, suddenly, everything changed.
He says he started having seizures, then seizures, and then seizures.
And they started calling the police.
And he said, Oh, my God.
I can’t tell you how many times I thought about going back to work and just being like, Well, what’s going on?
I don’t want to go back to this.
And I was terrified.
But then I started working at the hospital.
And then I went back to the hospital and I said, You know, this is just the beginning.
I have a problem.
I had a family crisis.
I had to get my life back on track.
And, now, with this new information, I have the power to get through this and get this out.
So what do you do?
What can you do now?
The answers to these questions are complex, but there are a few things you can do.
You can take a step back and look at what happened to you.
You need to remember how you were born.
You want to get a sense of what happened in your life, and what you can learn from it.
You should take time to talk to people about what you’ve experienced and how it has affected you.
You need to have a plan to deal with any challenges.
